Although the Rocket is an insane onshore wave board its designed for
cross discipline action, the Rocket Air is a new school convertible
board – perfect for wave, free ride, and freestyle. If you search for
only one board, this is the all in one board.
In waves it’s an incredibly fast board and very loose. The wave outline
and rails give the Rocket Air some very powerful wave abilities and
especially the step kicked rail with the swallow tail makes the board
very good in short turns.
In free ride it’s very fast, smooth and easy to control the board. The
board has a straighter free ride rocker line than last years design–
this ensures planning earlier and faster. The deep concaves make the
Rocket Air very smooth, so you will hardly feel the chop.
In freestyle the early planning plus the width and the special step tail
makes it easy and forgiving.
