Ideal to replace you damaged boom grip
Comfortable and hard
wearing replacement boom grip. Suitable for aluminium and carbon booms,
narrow and wide tubes. Supplied in either Black or Blue. You can easily
apply using almost any type of impact
adhesive. We use
Evo-stick impact
adhesive which is available from most DIY stores.

length of the boom grip roll and you will
then know if you need one or two rolls of
grip for your boom.

5 Minute Clear Epoxy repair set
Designed primarily as a high performance fast acting clear epoxy glue. This
new formula sets in 5 minutes, ideal to form a watertight seal to get you
back on the water without delay.
Supplied in a twin syringe pack for easy mixing. Dries to a
clear finish so this is ideal for emergency repairs to
any board

Is your board
fitted with a Pressure Release Valve?
Our
professional advice must follow the manufactures instructions which are
usually similar the the following; "make sure the air vent screw is done up
whist the board in on the water to prevent water ingress. When the board is
off the water the air vet screw should be left undone a couple of turns."
The air vent screw and “O”
ring only work by creating seal between the shoulder of the screw head and
the shoulder of the vent thread within the board. Therefore from new, we
recommend coating the air vent screw and “O” ring with silicon grease and only
tighten the screw to give a “pinch” effect on the “O” ring. Over tightening
the screw will not create an efficient seal; “au contraire”, over tightening
will crush and deform the “O” ring resulting in a very high risk of the
board thread stripping and water ingress.
A common
reason for a board to gain weight is if you have over tightened the pressure
release screw and damaged the important sealing system.
We can fix your vent thread.
If you have or suspect you have stripped the air vent thread within the
board, we can re-thread the board vent while you wait and give you a life
time warranty on the job.

Slot Flusher Strip
A flexible strip for sealing the dagger-board slot on
sailboards. A new formulation made from a laminate of
sailcloth and polyester film, resulting in good spring
characteristics with high tear resistance. Best fitted by
gluing.

Zip Runner Resurrection
If the zip runner on you bag looks like the image on the left, you
may be able to bring it back from the dead and save the zip itself in the
process.
Soak the zip runner with Vinegar for about 5
minutes (we have found the "malt vinegar" seems to work the bet for some
reason). Before your very eyes you will see the corrosion dissolving, then
gently scrape off any hardened corrosion that has been left. you may have to
repeat this process 2 or 3 times as necessary. The image on the right is the
same zip runner after the "Malt Vinegar" treatment and is now running OK.
